Benelux Neuromodulation Society Projects BNS as a consortium With this survey, we aim to explore the current use of prophylactic antibiotics in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg in the different fields and stages of neuromodulation. The data will be used to gain more insight into the current use of antibiotic prophylaxis and in a second stage to create guidelines for the BeNeLux by an expert committee.

STIMULUS research group (Maarten Moens & Lisa Goudman) A multicenter randomized controlled trial will be conducted in patients with Persistent Spinal Pain Syndrome Type II who are eligible for SCS. The primary scientific objective is to examine whether subthreshold Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS), compared to best medical treatment (BMT), provided to patients with Persistent Spinal Pain Syndrome Type II results in a higher percentage of clinical holistic responders at 6 months.
